Cigars, especially handmade cigars, are made entirely from natural tobacco leaves, withalmost no additives other than water. So the quality of the tobacco directly determinesthe quality of the cigar. Shifang, know as "the hometown of Chinese cigar", has a nearly400 history of growing tobacco. Daquankeng, a small village in Shifang, grows tobacco ofunique and excellent quality but scarce yield. The right climate, the fertile soil, and thestrict cultivation techniques make each piece precious. Great Wall uses both premiumtobacco from Shifang and other countries to blend the special Chinese flavor.
